Indiana University to use educational grant to upgrade its business school
Indiana University President Michael McRobbie recently announced that Lilly Endowment has extended a $33 million educational grant that the university will use to installing innovations at its Kelley School of Business.
"With this support, the Kelley School will continue as one of the world's leaders in business education and help Indiana to develop and retain the best and brightest minds who will drive our state's economy in the future," said McRobbie. "We are indeed grateful for Lilly Endowment's continued generosity and its commitment to advancing IU and serving the people of Indiana."
The upgraded facilities at the Kelley School centered around a technology-mediated experience, allow students of the business school to interact with companies from across the state and around the world on actual business projects.
Indiana University also launched a new master's degree program at the Kokomo School of Nursing, with 23 students from the surrounding area recently enrolling in the new program.
The new master's of science in nursing program will give nursing students in the region a place where they can go to get face-to-face learning, as opposed to an online format.
