Dell's new product to bring together learning resources
Dell recently released its Next Generation Learning Platform, which was created to provide teachers with the classroom resources to improve education through core education applications, digital learning resources and learning data.
"Our mission is to equip teachers, administrators and parents with the resources they need to ensure all students reach their full potential," said Mark Horan, vice president for Dell global education. "Our Next Generation Learning Platform and our cloud and services capabilities are part of our continuing investment in and commitment to developing the solutions our education customers tell us they need to improve learning outcomes."
Technology can often be difficult for educators to incorporate into learning for students because there are so many resources available to teachers. Dell's Next Generation Learning Platform is a learning management system that ties together dashboards, grade books and curriculum maps.
Similar learning management systems are expected to change drastically in the upcoming years, reported Inside Higher Ed.
With many LMS solutions not being up to par, college students Joseph Cohen, Brian Whitmer and Devlin Daley are working on new initiatives to make an LMS that will cater to learning.
