2010 EDNEBULA Online Drawing Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE U.S. AGED 18 OR OLDER.
To Enter:
The 2010 EDNEBULA Online Drawing ("Drawing") begins on March 1, 2010, and ends on ("Drawing Period"). You will be automatically entered into the Drawing when you register at www.ednebula.com. You understand that by registering at www.ednebula.com you are accepting the terms of these Official Rules and agreeing to be bound by them. You will be entered into the Drawing when you register in accordance with the Official Rules.
Eligibility:
The Drawing is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Drawing: (a) employees and officers of any organizations directly involved with this promotion, including any co-sponsor of the Drawing; (b) employees of Pearson Education, Inc., its affiliates and subsidiaries; and (c) immediate family members and persons living in the same household as the persons identified in (a) and (b) above. Only entrants logging onto the Internet from within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia are eligible to enter the Drawing. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Pearson Education reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if it concludes that the entrant has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing or has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations.
One entry per person. Prize winners will not be eligible to participate in this drawing again for three (3) years after winning.
Prize: There will be a total of Ten (10) Separate Grand Prize Winners.
Grand Prizes: Ten (10) $25 iTunes gift cards. Each winner will receive one (1) $25 iTunes gift card. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES THAT MAY ACCRUE FROM THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRIZE WINNERS.
Winner Notification:
The prize winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about December 15, 2010 from all eligible entries received.
Odds of winning a prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified within two weeks of the random drawing by email ("Winner Notice"). The Winner Notice will include information on how the winners can claim their prize. Failure to comply with any rule, regulation or limitation will result in the forfeiture of the prize, in whole or in part.
The Winner Notice will also include a copy of an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release ("Affidavit and Release"). Within ten (10) days of receipt of the Winner Notice, the winners shall be required to sign and return to Pearson Education the Affidavit and Release. The winners must provide their full name and mailing address (the mailing address may not be a PO Box) in the Affidavit and Release. Failure to sign and return the Affidavit and Release within the time requested may result in forfeiture of the prize. No responsibility is assumed for lost, stolen, late or misdirected mail. The Affidavit and Release is null and void if incomplete, not legible or if they contain errors. Unclaimed or forfeited prize will not be awarded.

General Conditions:
The Drawing will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. By entering this Drawing, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Pearson Education on all matters relating to the Drawing. When entered into the drawing, all entrants consent to the use or reproduction, in any format or media, of their names, addresses, likeness, and any statements they make in connection with the Drawing or about Pearson Education and/or Pearson Product without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Pearson Education may request, at Pearson Education's sole discretion, that the entrant/winner provide any of the foregoing information to Pearson Education.
Limitations of Liability:
By entering the Drawing, participants agree to release Pearson Education, Inc. and its respective affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, "Entities") from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to person or property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of a prize or with participation in this Drawing. By entering this Drawing, entrants agree that no claim relating to such injuries, damages, or losses shall be asserted against any of the Entities. Entrants agree that none of the Entities shall be liable for any injury or damage to any person's computer hardware, software, or peripherals utilized in participating in the Drawing. None of the Entities are responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communication failures of any kind, whether caused by any of the Entities, users, or by any equipment, programming, or other cause, whether or not such failures limit an entrant's ability to participate in the Drawing. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Drawing), the Drawing is not capable of being conducted as described in these Official Rules, Pearson Education shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Drawing.
Pearson Education reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing, or who has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations, or is acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE DRAWING MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, PEARSON EDUCATION AND ITS AGENTS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE SUCH PERSON AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
